Shelton Benjamin Makes AEW Dynamite Debut

The Hurt Syndicate continues to make its way over to All Elite Wrestling.

Following MVP’s debut at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, Shelton Benjamin joined him on the October 2nd episode of AEW Dynamite. MVP introduced Benjamin as his business partner.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Shelton Benjamin has officially signed with the company. Sapp writes that MVP, Benjamin, and Lashley were in talks with AEW earlier in September, and the deals had been “nailed down” a few weeks ago.

Sapp writes that Lashley, a former WWE Champion, has an impending debut with AEW. Per Sapp, MVP is expected to primarily serve as a manager, while Lashley and Benjamin will wrestle.

Lashley, Benjamin, and MVP were previously paired up in The Hurt Business in WWE. WWE released Benjamin in a wave of cuts while Lashley and MVP left the company this past summer.

No word has been announced as of yet regarding Lashley’s potential debut.
