Bobby Lashley Signs With AEW

It seems as though business is about to pick up in All Elite Wrestling, with reports suggesting that Bobby Lashley has indeed signed with the company.

Lashley’s arrival has been expected in AEW for a little while, with the recent debuts of former associates MVP and Shelton Benjamin only increasing expectations. A report from Fightful Select suggests that the ‘All Mighty’ has already signed a deal with the promotion, with the three members of the assumed ‘Hurt Syndicate’ said to have signed their deals ‘a number of weeks ago’.

What’s more, the report states that Lashley’s AEW debut is ‘imminent’, and it remains to be seen if Lashley arrives before or at WrestleDream in Tacoma, Washington on October 12. Whenever he debuts, it seems as though he is on a collision course with former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland, with MVP and Benjamin having confronted Swerve’s manager Prince Nana in recent weeks.

A former WWE, ECW, and TNA World Champion, Lashley departed WWE for a second time in August 2024 after the expiration of his deal. Lashley was reportedly the subject of much interest from the professional wrestling and MMA worlds after his WWE exit.
