Nikkita Lyons has made her in-ring return and boy are we glad she is back!
At a NXT house show in Davenport, Florida on Friday, Lyons teamed with Dante Chen and won a mixed tag team match. This was her first match since January when she lost to Blair Davenport on NXT television.
The last two years have been tough for Lyons, who has spent much of that time injured. After being out for nearly all of 2023, she made her return in December of last year, wrestling a few times before suffering an ACL injury in January. Lyons wrote about her recovery recently on X.
NXT is set to premiere on the CW this coming Tuesday in Chicago. The top two matches will have Ethan Page defending the NXT Championship against Trick Williams and Roxanne Perez defending the NXT Women’s Championship against Giulia.
