Triple H and Shawn Michaels ushered in a new era for NXT by unveiling redesigned championship titles. This week’s NXT opened with Michaels stating that a new NXT wouldn’t be complete without updated belts. He then revealed new title designs for the NXT and NXT Women’s Championships, featuring the updated NXT logo while retaining elements of the previous designs. Just as Michaels was wrapping up, Triple H made a surprise entrance, joining him in the ring as they asked the crowd if they were ready.
This revamp is part of WWE’s broader refresh as it enters new television deals. NXT is the second WWE show to receive a makeover, following SmackDown’s updated graphics and logo after its return to the USA Network last month.
