Will AJ Lee return to WWE?
Cora Jade has been vocal about her efforts to bring AJ Lee back into the WWE ring. Alongside Roxanne Perez, the duo has often been considered “wrestling children” of CM Punk and AJ Lee, having interacted with the iconic pair several times over the years.
Speaking with TV Insider, Cora Jade shared that she’s been actively trying to persuade CM Punk to encourage AJ’s return. “I don’t know. I hope so. I’m working on it,” Cora said. “Me and Roxy are always badgering him about it. I know he’s bringing it up to her as well, so we’ll see. If it happens, you’ll have to thank me.”
AJ Lee retired from in-ring competition following WWE WrestleMania 31, but with Cora and Roxanne’s persistence, fans might one day see her back in action.

Known for her “crazy chick” persona, AJ stood out with her fierce independence, athleticism, and relatable personality. As a three-time Divas Champion, she helped pave the way for WWE’s “Women’s Revolution,” showcasing that women’s matches could be as compelling as the men’s. After retiring in 2015, AJ became a mental health advocate and shared her story in her memoir, Crazy Is My Superpower. Her legacy continues to inspire a new generation of female wrestlers.
